Dermaplaning Facial

Achieve soft, smooth and radiant skin with a Dermaplaning Facial! This treatment exfoliates in a gentle, nonaggressive way and removes unwanted peach fuzz on the surface of the skin using the 10R "butter blade", leaving your skin feeling bright and glowing!

Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation. A surgical, sterile blade is stroked along the skin at an angle to gently “shave off” dead skin cells from the epidermis.

Dermaplaning also temporarily removes the fine vellus hair on the face, leaving a very smooth surface. As with any type of exfoliation, the removal of dead skin cells allows home care products to be more effective, reduces the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone and assists in reducing milia, closed and open comedones and minor breakouts associated with congested pores.

Commonly Asked Questions

1. Is there any downtime after dermaplaning?

There is no downtime for this procedure for most clients. Some clients may experience some sensitivity and redness that typically subsides within 24-48 hours.

2. Will the hair growth back thicker or darker?

Your hair will grow back exactly the same color and thickness as it was previously. The structure of the hair follicle remains unchanged.

3. Will dermaplaning cause my skin to breakout?

By removing the dead skin on the surface of the face, dermaplaning prevents it from getting trapped inside your pores causing infection and leading to acne. Since dermaplaning removes dirt and debris, it allows for deeper penetration of serums and acne treatments into your skin which also prevents future acne.

*This treatment is not recommended if you have active acne!*
